How We Came to Be
I created this group as a student at the Harvard Graduate School of Education. Initially, it was meant to serve as a vehicle or conduit through which I would experiment with my Arts & Learning practices. Our first event was vision boarding. In the end, participants shared how much they enjoyed the experience and wanted more. So, here we are!
Mission
Our mission at Sista Circle is to create a safe and empowering online community space where Black, African, African American, and women across the diaspora can connect, support, and uplift each other. We aim to promote inclusivity, respect, and empathy through thoughtful discussions, educational resources, and shared experiences. Our goal is to foster personal growth, build community, and inspire positive change in the lives of our members.
Vision
Our vision at Sista Circle is to be a global community of women who are committed to celebrating and embracing the diverse perspectives and experiences of Black, African, African American, and women across the diaspora. We strive to empower and uplift each other through education, personal growth, and collective action. Our ultimate goal is to create a world where all women feel valued, respected, and empowered to achieve their full potential.
